In England, one in four adults and one in ten children will experience mental illness. Behind those statistics are real people — strong, creative, emotional, resilient — who deserve to be seen, heard, and supported.

My own journey with mental health has shaped everything I create. I was diagnosed with Bipolar II disorder in my early twenties, after years of struggling silently and being dismissed. For a long time, I felt ashamed of my diagnosis and tried to fight it — as if accepting it meant giving in. But over the years, I’ve learned to stop resisting and start embracing it.

I’ve learned more from my struggles than I ever did from pretending to be okay. I’ve found strength in acceptance. I’ve built self-love not by fixing myself, but by making space for every part of who I am — the fire, the overwhelm, the passion, the chaos, the softness too.

That growth has shaped this brand. It’s why my jewellery carries feeling. It’s why every piece is a small declaration that you don’t have to be polished or perfect to be powerful.

The Frank Bruno Foundation has been a huge part of that journey. Frank’s honesty about his own experience with bipolar disorder helped me feel less alone. His foundation creates a safe space where people can connect, grow, and be supported without judgement. Through them, I found the tools to let go of the shame I’d carried and finally speak about my own experience with pride.
