Behind the Scenes
🔨Carving a Wax Ring by Hand
Every single ring I make starts like this, with a rough block of wax and a whole lot of intention.
Wax carving is where the fire begins. It’s messy, it’s hands-on, and it’s one of my favourite parts of the process. I get to shape every curve, carve every mark, and decide exactly how bold or soft a piece wants to be (It will be bold knowing me) No two ever come out the same, and that’s the whole point for me.
🖤 Why Wax Carving Matters to Me
There’s something powerful about starting with nothing and turning it into something.
Something raw. Something personal. Something made with your actual hands.
Wax lets me create rings that feel like they’ve lived a little, like they hold stories. They’re not perfect, They’re fierce. And they’re meant to be worn by people who feel things deeply.
Each mark I carve in that wax? That’s a choice. That’s me putting care, feeling, into what I’m building its jewellery with emotion.
🔨 Made by Hand. Made to Mean Something.
Every ring starts with me carving it by hand in wax. Just one design at a time.
Once it’s carved, I send it off to my casting house, where it’s poured into silver or gold
It comes back to me raw, unfinished, full of potential and that’s when I bring it back to life.
From there, I shape it, set any stones, and polish it by hand.
It’s a long process, but it’s so exciting. And I love sharing it with you.
Every step is part of the story, and you’re part of it too.
